- the different entities making up MSH International (Dubai) Ltd and its subsidiaries
- the service providers involved in the administration of the insurance policy across the world.
Your data will be transferred to third countries outside your jurisdiction guaranteeing an appropriate level of protection or subject to the use of adapted safeguards.
All processing of your data will be carried out in accordance with the UAE Federal Decree‑Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data, Federal Decree-Law No. 2 of 2019 Concerning the Use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in Health Fields, and the DIFC Law No. 5 of 2020 Data Protection Law, and the Abu Dhabi Healthcare Information and Cyber Security Standard (ADHICS), as applicable.
Your rights
You have several rights regarding your personal data, which you can exercise at any time:
- Access: You can request to see all the personal information we hold about you and understand how it is being used. We will provide a copy of this data so you can verify its accuracy.
- Rectification: If any of your personal data is inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated, you can ask us to correct or update it.
- Erasure (Right to be forgotten): You can ask us to delete your personal data when it is no longer necessary for the purposes it was collected, or if you withdraw consent, except where the law requires us to retain it.
- Restriction of processing: You can request that we limit the way we use your data temporarily, for example while a dispute over its accuracy is being resolved, or if you object to certain types of processing.
- Objection: You may object to the processing of your personal data for specific reasons related to your situation. You have an absolute right to object to processing for direct marketing or profiling related to marketing.
- Consent withdrawal: If you previously agreed to allow us to process your data, you can withdraw this consent at any time. This does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal.
- Data portability: Where technically feasible, you can request your personal data in a structured, commonly used electronic format, or request that it be transferred directly to another service provider.
- Instructions upon death: You can provide instructions for how your personal data should be handled after your death.

You also have the right to file a complaint with a competent supervisory authority in charge of personal data protection in your jurisdiction.

In cases where data is used for advertising and profiling purposes, it may be transferred to platforms such as Facebook Ireland to allow us to target the right audience. Your data will only be stored by these platforms for the period strictly required for this purpose. If outsourced by other entities, your data will be subject to safeguards ensuring an appropriate level of protection.
